Daisy's Diary??
"...that log cabin that Betty mentioned, my family also
lived in it for awhile when we moved from CA. I have lots of fond
memories even if I was only 8 years old but it is still standing and I
have a copy of Daisy's, kind of, diary for the year that the cabin was
built also the house they lived in while the cabin (log) was being built.
Your Granddad Earl worked quit a bit on it. I was up there less than a
year ago but I never find anyone there. The older man that lived next
door who bought the place many years ago lived next door when it was
being built and told me once that he had found your Granddad's Sunday
School book and said he would look for it and for me to come back, I
waited a couple of months and went again but he couldn't remember.
He has since passed away and the last I knew his son had both places as
well as his own on the same street.
The property and the house they stayed in originally belonged to the man
that became Daisy's second husband (Mr. Harper) and because he was so
well liked and had built so much in the area the name of the road is
Harper Rd. Thought you might like to know!" From: Cousin,
