Lilly Rowe

Lilly Marie Rowe, 79, of Molalla died Feb. 14, 1999.

She was born in Madison, Colo. on Nov. 9, 1919. Her mother died when she was nine. She moved to Kansas in 1925 and to Scotts Mills in 1934. She married Orvin Rowe on Mar. 18, 1939 in Vancouver, Wash. He died in 1964. She married Richard Lance in 1970. He is deceased. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed canning and sewing. She loved to bake bread. She learned to crochet and do embroidery work in her later years.

Survivors include her sons, Marvin of Canby, Fred of Arlington, Wash., James of Molalla and Richard of Cullowhee, N.C.; daughters, Maurita Adkins and Alveta Gibboney both of Molalla; sisters, Emmaline Schidigger of Holton, Kan., Pearl Downs of Silverton and Lorene Leed of Chehalis, Wash.; 28 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be tomorrow at Miller Cemetery Chapel from 9 am. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 am. to 5 p.m. Services will be Saturday at noon at the Miller Cemetery Chapel, Silverton. Interment will follow.
