Alfred B. Rowe &
Emily Cecelia Nelson
One set of my paternal great-grandparents. Parents of Orvin E. Rowe.
Alfred is a son of Alden B. Rowe & Vesta Victoria Williams
Rowe. Cecilia's parents were native of Denmark and immigrated to the
United States in about 1880.
Cecelia's family is one of my "brickwalls." I am hoping that a
bit of new information will help to solve some of the mysteries of her parent's
lives.
While we are here... take a look at the picture below, click on it for a
larger view if you like. The only words associated with these people are
"daddies grandpa." It came from a collection of photos that
belonged to Orvin E. Rowe's wife, Lily Marie McClaskey. We are hoping
then, that these people are Orvin Rowe's grandparents... and if they are, then
they have to either be Alden B. Rowe & wife, Vesta Victoria.. or Chrester
Nielson and wife, Cecelia ESHELSON Nielson. The Nielson's dropped the i
from their surname when they got to America, for forever more, known as NELSON
