Clara White Shatto

Clara White Shatto was born May 22, 1881, died November 20, 1923, aged 42 years, 5 months and 28 days.

United in marriage to Robert Shatto March 19, 1900. To this union were born eleven children, 5 boys and 6 girls. Namely: Mrs. Martha Ford, Clarence, Mary, Frankie, Amber, Goldie, Lydia, Thomas, Carrol, Elmer, and Charles, all of whom are living and all of them at home except Mrs. Martha Ford.

She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, eleven children, one grandchild, two brothers, Simpson White of Milan, William White of Burlington, Washington, and one sister, Mrs. Mary McAllister, of Milan. All were present at the funeral, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
 

Life is real, is earnest,
And the grave is not it’s goal.
Dust thou art,
To dust thou returneth.

The funeral was preached by the Rev. J. H. Rickard, Pastor of the M. E. Church of Humphreys.
